How sexy is Jezabel?
Okay, what's going on with everyone? It has been a while since I truly took timew to write in here. As with most, time has not been on my side.
Thanksgiving went well as I finally got to meet my girlfriend's extended family. Very fun, including sore cheeks, tearing eyes, drunken games of Balderdash...but everything was put in perspective the Monday after as her grandfather (who was the main reason I took a day off during football season) passed away. He had been fighting terminal cancer for 10 years and was finally taken off all the drugs that were keeping him alive, albeit miserable.
From merely a day and half it was incredible seeing how loved he was and the warmth he shared. R.I.P. Howard, I'm glad to have had the chance to meet you and spend some of those final days with you.
So now that all my problems seem miniscule I still need to keep plugging away. I hope we still manage to make the playoffs because it's fun and I get bonuses based on how well the team does. I have hit the wall though...always happens right before the end...long season tha makes me want to move back to SF...now!
