I called in sick today.

This is the 2nd day since 1994 that I have called in to work so it is a different world. Between some kicking allergies, some exhausting hours at work and then a Monday Night Football game that worked me up so much I didn't fall asleep until 5:30 am...I needed a day out of the muck.

Woke up at 11:00, tended the cats who are still very amazed to see someone home at this hour and was greeted to the online world by the lovely Posh. Riding out the final wave of the work season and then re-evaluating things - as there are so many great options out there, yet don't expect my current gig to remain one of them.

Considering some more schooling in Portland...talking to a digital media/mktg company in San Diego...so much on the horizon, but still so far away. At least it's something to very much look forward to when at the office and almost physically feeling the drain of any creativity and personal growth as I rush from task through task.

Good friends, amazing girlfriend, loving family and wonderful distractions around every corner...so things aren't bad...just feel the need for something different to enhance everything else.
