So here I am investing more time in this world again. Been in LA for over a year now and haven't met anyone through SG, so I'm beginning to reach out and see what's happening around the neighborhood.

Hit "Backstage" in Culver City last night for some bar dinner and drinks. Cool waitress with a playful accent that sent the table around the globe in attempt of placing it. It teased of Eastern European (mmmmmmm....) but my girlfriend made the corret call with Brazillian. I know that sounds incredibly off and random, but she explained that two guys at another table of hers had a $10 bet earlier that evening - one on Brazil and the other Eastern European. Maybe she was just saying that to be friendly and converse, but I swear it had a tinge of Czech.
