Typing on a new MacBook Pro...first Mac I've owned so that is a big step (in some artist vs. Microsoft sort of way).
Spent a great weekend with my mistress, San Francisco, last weekend. Baseball game, punch at Hobson's Choice (which has become my one must stop at spot in SF every visit) and a Velvet Revovler show at the Warfield.
Weiland and the guys can still bring it, but it's frustrating with somewhat aggressive bands with older fans because it becomes date night on the floor and all these people are so offended that everyone doesn't just stand there like it's a fucking Billy Joel show. Not that I want to get crazy and thrash anymore, but there were some younger kids trying to have a semi-mosh pit and all these overprotective boyfriends wanted to fight them all...GO UPSTAIRS IF YOU DON'T WANT TO DEAL WITH IT.
Okay, end of rant...but it iwas a great trip. Out of LAX tomorrow at 6:20 am for a work trip in St. Louis. C ya...
