Can't, can't, can't wait to go to Philly this weekend! 75% of the people I consider my best friends live there.

Thank you for what you said honey -- that means so much to me!

You are a good friend to have. People are better for knowing you too.

I'm taking Seattle over St. Louis in todays game.

Holmgren has had a hard time with his team underachieving this year, but talent wise they are still the superior team to Martz's overconfident Rams. I like Hasselbeck more than I do Bulger, and if you can rattle Marc you can force him into a multiple interception game. With Seattle's high powered offense they could put alot of points on the board if Bulger doesnt play smart. Shaun Alexander should be a threat in todays game - like always - running the ball and chipping in at least one key reception, and I think Seattle's TE corps might shock the smaller Rams linebackers on at least one deep play. Stevens is looking kind of bust-like, but he has the athletic ability to make a big play on the Rams soft D unless they put that Tianomosoto or whateverthefuckhisnameis on him. The Rams, like always, have a good offense, but to me it seems to be more of a last gasp. Every year they have gotten a little less lethal, a part falls off here, chips away there, and now instead of great, they are just good. I think if anyone has a good day running on the Hawks it will be Stephan and not Marshall, and Bruce and Holt should have problems vs a very good Seattle corner crew. Trufant is a personal favorite of mine, it will be fun to see him line up vs Holt.

I know STL has taken Seattle twice this year, but I dont think it will happen a third time.

I say Seattle 31, St.Louis 17.

I'll tell ya what I think of the other game later (GB vs MIN) but I think Green Bay will whoop on them. Tice has just enough in him to coach the talent to wins, but they always crumble when the going gets tough.

hehe I love the chain those questions make wink

you asked me this:

1. Favorite gummy candy shape and/or flavor?
sour gummy bears...all kind!
2. Location you would always seek as a getaway if money wasn't an option?
Switzerland
3. Your favorite chair you've ever sat in and why?
My lazy boy in the living room, because I always fall asleep in it and it reminds me of some naughty things too.

Now my turn:

(A) First, recommend to me:
1. a movie:
I-robot
2. a book:
Sleeping beauty chronicles
3. a musical artist, song, or album:
John Lennon

(B) I want everyone who reads this to ask me three questions, no more, no less. Ask me anything you want.

q2) Where were you born?
q3) What type of car do you dream of having and why?

Swoo and I will be posting our predictions for this weekend's NFL action on Friday, with his focus on the NFC and I'm taking the other side (though we'll both put predictions on all games).

Other than that just letting the offseason start to settle in. This business is tough when people you've worked with for years are just let go, whether it be players...

Got my SG calendars in the mail today (one for me, one as a late X-mas gift for my friend Sam). It rocks. Really cool and bigger than I was expecting.

Cool deal.

Sounds dope. AFC/NFC makes no difference to me. I'll take NFC if you want to stick closer to your boys n' employers wink

New profile pic...blue Fijian Starfish on my head from a summer trip to Fiji and Auckland. I think it liked me as it let its guard down immediately after it was put on my head (without my permission).

I'm going to start cropping and adding some of the pics from that trip (finally).

OK, wait... OUCH on the Indy tip. But, very classy he kneeled at the end instead of trying to tie the record..

Stil, wait, OUCH. Happy holidays, rock star. Jamie and I hope to see you soon... XO.
jamie_trecker:
Thanks! It was a bit of a shock for us too, considering a) I vowed never to get married again and b) Li never thought she would get married (I don't understand that one at all, between you and I!) but it happened, it feels right, and so there you go. Hey, if you're gonna marry someone, might as well marry your best friend, right? And besides, to quote Homer: "I get to feel her boobies."

Have a good holiday and hopefully we will see you soon --

Back on track, but now to Indy. Anybody out there want to play? Next Saturday night I'll be in town with a friend who's flying in to go to the Colts game.
swoo:
Heh, you'll miss me by a week. North, north, north for a white xmas!

What are you going to get into at Indy?

How sexy is Jezabel?

Okay, what's going on with everyone? It has been a while since I truly took timew to write in here. As with most, time has not been on my side.

Thanksgiving went well as I finally got to meet my girlfriend's extended family. Very fun, including sore cheeks, tearing eyes, drunken games of Balderdash...but everything was put in perspective the Monday...

Yeah, if you would have won it would have been one of the biggest upsets of the year. It was pretty much Ravens D vs the entire team of New England, and Bellicheck just eats QBs for breakfast, lunch, and dinnah.
silencenoir:
Thank you for the testimonial also, very sweet of you smile

You getting ready for the holidays yet?

After shooting his radio show last night, with guests Deion Sanders and Chris McAlister, (and getting a free dinner from the radio station at Damon's) I'll be once again snapping away for Gary Baxter today.

Paul's Place in Baltimore provides services to less fortunate, ranging from meals, to tutors for kids after school to just a safe haven for those in need. Gary's foundation has...

I have just had this urge to go to Australia for the past several months, and I keep running into more and more peeps from there vacationing and they are some of the coolest peeps I have ever met. I love that odd sense of humor they have, and how they just cut down anyone whom gets too big of a head - sounds like a nation of me.

So I decided, when summer approaches this year I will go to Australia instead of the planned trip to UK with some friends.

Taught a guy from work how to play raquetball today and I think he's going to become addicted. Graphic designer I share an office with who has become a really good friend now that we're in the same building. Good stuff. Makes a cool job even better.

We found a mouse in the buidling a couple days ago. It was tearing all over the place...

So has the Pro-Boller turned the corner or what? Rather surprised with him here lately.

Did you ever watch the show 'Titus'? I had a quick flashback to that show with your journal; They are in a warehouse they are about to turn into a car garage and all the sudden a rat the size of a cat comes out of nowhere and the camera switches to 'rat cam' and it is all terminator and shit. Was mega funny.

I hear you -- work is all-consuming for both of us as well. Sucks, huh? Nah, we have no off-season; as soon as the USA ends, the rest of the planet heats up. Sigh!

I didn;t see the special, but I will look for it. Hope you're getting a chance to some fun stuff and good luck tomorrow against Dalllas. G-d, I hope you just emasculate them.

The waiting game. C'mon Kerry! I'm a registered Republican but voted Donkey for the first time ever because of the attack on individual rights and the overwhelming use of the Bible and God in everything Bush attempts to justify.

I was pretty lucky in that after work I only waited in line for 5 minutes if that. Ohio has lines right now that might not...

I waited for about an hour...and I was in the short line at my polling station. There was a 3 hour line for most people.

I am so pissed off at Ohio right now - you don't even know. Issue 1 passed...ridiculous. The smoking ban in Columbus passed...annoying. Half of America thinks Bush is doing well enough to have another 4 years...absurd. *sigh*

Last time I ate ice cream was this incredible honey pistachio ice cream at the North Market...I could go for some right now. Damn you.
jamie_trecker:
Well, I guess we both lose, huh?
Hope your team does better this weekend than we all did at the polls.
