My schedule is opening up a bit now so I'm excited to see more of LA and hopefully some of its seedy underground (who am I kidding? Getting too old to hit it hardcore...at least on a consistent basis).

Will be hitting some club/bar tonight that is a little more on the heavy metal tip...tasty.

Sad and exciting...just finished Season 2 of Carnivale for the first time....ah the eternal struggle of good vs evil throughout time.

Probably the first game he plays in, which would be July 4? The thing is, it conflicts with the Copa America in Venezuela. So, we'll see -- I'm not sure I want to be in a South American hellhole for three weeks, either. Had enough of that to last a lifetime. Sigh. I'm getting to old to be doing this, I fear!

Hit the Dresden the other night (Hollywood piano/lounge bar where they shot some scenes in "Swingers." Pretty hip joint. And there's some place right down the street here called Good Hurt, but I think I expected too much from it and has been somewhat weak the couple times I've gone.

I have now gone 2.5 weeks without a bed...but that better be changing within the next 30 minutes (damn delivery times).

Santa Monica pier tonight as I still don't know what the hell to do around here.

Do love the fact that there seem to e so many more tats and just chill, cool people around.

So...one more week at my current job and then drive to LA the following week to start new with a new job. Can't wait to get out West again.

Finally watched my favorite book last night. Unbearable Lightness of Being. Solid movie but it's only going to throw me into reading it again. smile
