Just got home from almost 2 hours of tennis at the Barnes Center. Steps at a time to get back in shape - I played pretty awful, but it was fun.

Had breakfast at the Tractor Room in Hillcrest this morning. It was incredible - chocolate chip banana pancake (giant).

Place was crazy cool inside and everyone we dealt with who worked there seemed cool. Looking forward to going back there for drinks at some point.

One of my best friends (met the first day of college) sent me a DVD from Philadelphia. He gathered pics from a group of us during all 4 years of college - mixed in famous movie scenes (thin Usual Suspects and Kaiser Soze) and put together a great old school piece from when we were all just punk pups. That was fun to watch.

And downtown San Diego is hopping with costumed guests. Fun energy all around, especially as the line to see the "Twilight" Stars wrapped around our office building. Awesome to see so many people so excited.

Finely buzzed at 6:45 on a day off...watching 3:10 to Yuma.

The good life.

I think I updated about 3 years ago at this point...but felt I needed to get up the news that I proposed to Hilary and she said yes.

2009 couldn't start much better for me/us and hope everyone else is gearing up for a sexy, artistic, passionate 12 months.

Man, I'm a little spent. Today was day 21 in a row at the office. Big project that has to be done and it just happens to be one of my friends across the country in Buffalo that will be the recipient of this site - so I can do nothing but give it everything I can before presentation.

And travels in the next week will take me from LA to Charlotte to Nashville to LA and then to Vegas before back to LA.

Couple different reasons, but looking forward to all of them.

Hopefully my right arm will be getting accosted by the buzzing needle by the time I get back in the fold.

Power outage at the work building today, so it's my very first Los Angeles, 100 degree snow day. Cleaning, did some grocery shopping and hosting some folks over for a little NHL Draft party starting at 4.

And still need to make an appointment with Blitz at Pure Tattoo...the hummmmm of the needle is already calling to me like a siren on a rock.

It's hot. I keep trying to pretend it's not that bad...but it kinda sucks. At least it's not humid here.

Stopped by PURE Tattoo off Fairfax and talked to Blitz. Looks like some new ink could well be on the way.

And as the Caps were eliminated this evening...hence so is all my facial hair.

Flyers scored in overtime. I walked to the shower and came out with a bald head and no more beard.
