Opening my eyes
I found the walls close in on me
wires
networks
alive.
Blue and red
cords
stretch through my room.
But they are only
long hollow silhouettes.
It's frosty
and the air is so moist.
An empty room
filled only with
echos
of screams
for loss
and torture.
Losing balance
I'm reaching for a wall-
but it's ice cold
searing blue fire
a gel coating
absorbs my fingers.
Panic begins

stretching my hand
into the crystral ooze
it keeps sinking...
Where the hell is the wall?
Fear and knowing
enwrap me.
Thrusting both arms
forward
tearing through to
freedom.
Covered in white pain
my head hits soft wood
the world goes back out...

One gasp
and I saw my
torn and fleshy heart
in my hands.
Curled fingers pulsating with it.
