Sometimes I'm able to see the future: Tonight, I will be intoxicated.

An odd day, not too long ago... Opened up a peanut, and there were no nuts to be found. Cracked open a fortune cookie and it was blank. Checked a bottle top to see if I had won, but there was nothing on the inside.

Strange indeed.

I miss Tom -- been having dreams of Portland and a different life.

David mentioned I should come up and participate in their pseudo "Think-Tank". I know I could benefit greatly... I always seem to thrive best when challanged. Toss me a sword and throw me to the lions, I become deadly.

Too much here to be attached to, though. My friends, for one. I love 'em... David mentioned that once, Stacy has too; Most people usually do, "You have great friends."

They're better than great. Gunna go drink with one today, before he goes off to college.

He's a good kid. I know he'll eventually go far and do the things he wants to do, never living under anyone's thumb.

How do I know? Like I said... Sometimes I can see the future.
