ok..so this is the highlight of my day....

15 minutes before clean up time at work I started talking to this guy john. I worked with john when I started and back in march I think he got a job at the other plant, and he is back at the plant I work at to help the steel department catch up. anyway here is the story he told me.

He told me back when he was in JROTC they had field training for like 15 days. and before they went on the trip he told me the platoon he was in was not allowed to have chem-sticks (aka Glowsticks) because they got bored one night and broke them open and flung the stuff in them at eachother. they did this at night and decided to fuck with the first platoon (he was in second platoon) and pour this stuff on them when the where sleeping. so they covered them with the stuff and one of them woke up and saw his platoon covered in this stuff and was like "who the fuck did this?" and saw that second platoon was covered also and said "I guess third platoon got you too" and they went over and started a fight with third platoon.

so on the last night of the 15 day field traning they gave his platoon chem-sticks. well john told me he was sleeping and he covered himself with his poncho to protect himself from bugs. he woke up in the middle of the night and herd his sarge laughing. He took a look around and saw that they where all covered with the chem-stick stuff and they where glowing, he asked him sarge if he did it and his sarge said yeah. john just chuckled and went back to sleep. well the main sargent of the squad saw this glowing from the woods and came out to investigate. when he found out if was the second platoon he was like "God damn, I can't take you fuck-ups anywhere. I mean I can understand if some one did it to you, but you screw ups did it to yourselfs out of bordem."

eh, I thought it was funny, and john told it better...but then after the story and after I laughed for a little bit he just came out of nowhere with "I puked in a guys shoes once."

the rest of my day was horrible.
