yeah, oh yeah. today I had a weld test this morning at e-one. yesterday I spent the whole day at the shop at cfcc practicing. as it turned out they needed a aluminum welder, I thought i was a steel position because it was at the chasses plant. I learned and practiced Steel mig Spray transfer...eh, it was something new anyway. So this morning I showed up and I had an interview and then we went out to the plant floor and I got a little tour of where I would be working. So I met one of the other workers and he set me up on a machine. I had to do a simple fillet weld. I layed down two welds and the supervisor and the worker where both impressed. after that I went home and took a nap. well I got a phone call a little while ago and it was e-one. I got the job! =) fuck yeahhh. There starting me out a dollar more then I was making at O-fab, and 2 more then what was posted on the flyer. Its going to be awesome, Its 2nd shift, 4/10s. just what I want. 3 day weekends hehehe. I have orientation thursday and friday, and the following monday I'm on the floor. I'm looking foward to it.
