I've had a fun couple of days...Yesterday I was "Dismissed" from work. I got fired because I was seen at a different company off of the clock. One of the welders at o-fab (my former employer) happend to see me at e-one (my future employer) talking to two supervisors and he also saw me w/ my equipment. I didn't tell anyone at o-fab that I applyed at e-one while I was on the clock, doing deleverys but when they wanted me to come in for a interview and weld test I decided to take that day off so that I could meet that appointment. Thats when I was seen 
SO.....the next day at work everyone at the shop was giving me a shitty attitude, and I was talking to my boss when he told me that he wasn't happy that I didn't come in wensday and was at E-one. I almost choked on the water I was drinking. he told me that one of the welders from our shop was at e-one and he saw me and told my supervisor. So I was honest with him about it, but my intentions of applying was going to be like a poker chip in my negoitations for a raise at o-fab. I didn't tell my boss that....anyway, I felt like I was back in highschool talking to the dean about how some kid told on me about something I did. So later on my supervisor tells me that the Human Resourse guy wanted to see me....He had his little black book with him so I knew what was happening. After him and I sit down in the office in comes my supervisor. They tell me that my attendence sucks and my performance wasn't that great (basicly talking about events that happend the past week when I was trasnitioning from welder to forman). and then my supervisor says "It doesn't matter anyway if you lose your job here....E-One will take you. We know you where there yesterday." I just sat back and gave up fighting for my job. I was told that they would definaly take me back, after I get some more experence.
so i'm waiting for that phone call from e-one....
I went back to o-fab today though to get my paycheck and drop off my uniforms, everyone was shocked that they fired me. When everyone else was fired everyone there knew before lunch, but no one knew I was fired untill I asked for my paycheck and gave back my uniforms. people said its a shame they let me go...blah blah blah....and they would be looking foward to seeing me again when I come back. If I ever do....even my boss said that once they do setup a good TIG work area he would be looking foward to me coming back. he also told me that i was adding to the chaos and wasn't helping out with trying to get it in order. so he was telling me what my supervisor already told me when he fired me. which means that my boss has no clue about what I was really doing and how I got the shop out of the hole we where in. I might go back.....when they fire the current supervisor at that shop.
