oh wait...hold on.......oh darn, fresh out of "I care" today.
thats pretty much how it was for me today at work. I do some favors like work opening to close on Friday, and come in on my day off to cover someone else's shift last minute...and they think I will be generous enough. Its bad enough I do not get compensated properly for the added responsibility I chose to take to know how to run things, but to do them all at the same time? eh, not so much.
Toss me some more money to make it feel like I make enough for all that is expected of me, I'll make superman look like a sloth and then some....no extra pay, no extra work. I have deadlines to meet to keep things going smooth, the few couple of customers at the counter can wait for the proper person to talk to them.
What made the day better though was Jess getting on the hand truck and me taking her to the back, and lunch with her. I always wanted to push people around on the hand truck to see if I could do it.
