Yes, I got my vacation time in for nextweek. 9 days off, and used 24 hours of time.
I'm can't wait for my brother to show up, Its been a while since I've seen him. hopefully we will do some fun stuff, Last time he visited the one thing I remember the most was sitting and watching 4 seasons of black adder in a row. my ass really hurt after that.
eh, I don't know. I might look for another job while I'm off. I applyed for geek squad
and got a call back and a interview set. As long as I can make around what I am now, I'll be happy as long as its not welding.
I'm just sooo fucking bored at work. today we had not a whole lot to do, so when we set the rear discharge pipes in the trucks we where hanging about in the pump mod waiting for someone to start working by the rear and yell into the pipes to freak them out. worked on 5 people. it was funny.
and I also did alot of standing around and shooting the shit.
I guess my job wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the goddamn heat, and horrible management. I'm still on manditory overtime when we have nothing to do. they just don't want us to have friday off before the holiday weekend. so they make us work the extra 8 hours a month previous to the holiday weekend, plus lie to us that we're 56 trucks behind. when the truth really is they haven't sold any trucks in a month and they have over 50 sitting in the lot idle because customers haven't picked them up yet, or they just haven't been sold.
so instead of managment getting on the sales guys. they punish the production workers. for two weeks the whole plant was on manditory. the past three, just our side. Plus we have people from other plants helping out because we are so "far behind" but there doing nothing because schedulewise we are caught-up/ahead.
yeah, it gave me a stroke also.
