Here I am from the other side! I'm writing from my new house. It's closer to work, there's a better social scene, it's closer to Manchester and I now have two cats! :D Here's Wesley, trying to kill my hand, and again, instinctively attracted to a computer!
I've been out with Helen a few times over the last few days, generally to get an idea of what's around here. I've been working here for nearly 3 years now, commuting in, so I have a general idea of what's here. It feels more homely than my, now former, home. I'm finding that surreal.
We found this amazing little park, well, I say 'little' but 16 acres of land, that backs out onto moors? That's pretty big.
Life's good at the minute. Since moving here I'm already making plans to be more social, that's one of the keys to my happiness, I think.
