I've decided to get a new hobby. It was almost by chance. I've always had a boner for Super Nintendo's. The same goes for Japanese culture. So i decided to merge both of them :D

It's really random how it all started. I got added to a group of facebook and now my whole world has been opened up into new realms of possibility. Seriously, retro video gaming is like fight club. You're kind of aware that something is going on and then you get sucked in.

In the space of two weeks I've gone from not having anything to owning, well, a lot... 30 Super Famicom games and a Super Famicom console. Design wise, she's a thing of beauty <3

I was playing Final Fantasy 5 last night, this screen came up and I could read it. I was about to press 'A' and I was like "I CAN READ!!" granted my bilingualism isn't overly great, but big things have small beginnings

Damn, Final Fantasy 5 is a masterpiece. But playing Chronno Trigger is something great cause it was no doubt one of the most exciting RPG's for SNES. Your should try strategy Des Langrisser, Breath Of Fire is also great as RPG and of course... A undergrond japanese game called Blood Brothers. It is a mixing of Beat Em Up with RPG. They are kinda piece of art from the old school games.

I love Breath of Fire, I haven't played it for a while though! and I'll check out Blood Brothers, I know a dude in Japan who supplies retro games, hopefully he can get it. Sounds different enough for me to get it :D
