My Japanese is coming along. I'm starting to ask questions, or form basic sentences. It blows my mind on a regular basis that I can look at something like 「東京をあいしてる」(I love Tokyo) and I'm able to read it. My greatest tool is currently - 'book' 日本語でなんですか "what is 'book' in Japanese?" Fuck yeh!

I'm quite proud of myself ^_^

I managed to buy myself a Japanese 3DS for £55, too. My theory is that I can learn and play at the same time, it'll be a more surreptitious way of learning ^_^

I have a Japanese penpal, google translate is doing most of the work, but it's cool being able to practice anything I've learned with her. It's pretty awesome because she's animator - for hentai. I haven't asked much about it at the minute, I don't trust google translate to wrongly interpret anything that's said haha
