I'm in need of doing something amazing. Well, just something different. I need a new tattoo for a start. I only have a tiny tat at the minute but I've got that burning desire to go under the needle again! I want a full sleeve eventually but I'm fucking awful at designing anything. When it comes to logic, and outside the box thinking when it comes to solving problems, I'm all over that shit but when it comes to creativity? Nothing. Nothing at all. I've got the drawing skills of a five year old using their weak hand. I suck massively.
I need to take up writing again. I mean I bought an iPad a couple of winters ago now, when Apple released the 4G retina, with the sole purpose of it used to unleash my inner nerd again, now though, it's mainly used to watch Crunchyroll and browse eBay. A few years ago I used to write a lot, I had a chance at writing for Future Publishing. It was like 10% talent and 90% one of my friends knew a dude who worked there. For whatever reason, it just never happened, which is cool.
I nearly made my own comic with one of my friends but then we both got grown up jobs and our free time went from about 30 hours a week to about 3. That sucked balls, I mean I really looked forward to that, but being a corporate whore has it's perks, one of them is that I'm now paid nearly 4 times as much as I was in my previous job. Fuck being creative, creative doesn't pay for vacations and an eBay habit! haha
