I can't believe I've had an account on here for like, six or seven years and not used it...?
This is one of my favourite records at the minute. Whenever I'm on my own I always have headphones in, always. It's that whole 'soundtrack to your life' kinda thing. It's one of those records I love listening to in the park, generally whenever I walk through I'm usually the only person so it's quite a solitary experience, it works well for musical moments.

Right, I suppose this is the 'about me' part of a new blog. I'm a 31yr old dude who works in an Aerospace Engineering Lab, destroying composite aircraft parts for a living. It's a tough life. I have a 'slight' obsession with Japan and Japanese culture. My blog title is a polite way of saying good morning. I started teaching myself Japanese a couple of months ago, I went there for two weeks last summer and seriously, it was a life changing experience. So much so that I can't really stop talking about it, much to the annoyance of others...
I'm teaching myself 1) I can listen to music/watch anime/drama/movies and read without needing an English translation 2) I felt woefully unprepared when I went to visit with my girlfriend last year. It was a definite culture shock and I felt like I missed out on so much by not knowing a whole lot other than "すみません”and "こんにちは” (sumimasen + konnichiwa)
So when I go back again, hopefully for my girlfriends 30th in two years, I'll be practically fluent ^_^
I'm applying for the December 2014 JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) N1 this coming winter, I think it'll be a good benchmark of where I'm at ability wise, and it'll be a good experience visiting London. Even though I'm not overly fond of the place
