I've actually driven an ambulance only once. We don't usually get in and drive unless they need both people in the back. It was pretty fun..me and the two med-chicks drove around for a bit after that before heading back to my station...so that was cool. Of course, I pretty much drive a firetruck everyday I work..so I know what ya' mean. So not much shaking goin' on in Vegas huh? Good to know, it's not real cool. I guess that having only felt one earthquake in the four years I've been here isn't too bad. Hope the job is still fun!

Thursday was the last day of paramedic school! Now all i have left is ACLS skills testing on Tuesday....i am so excited to be done....lol, almost ^_^ Now i am just looking forward to graduation on Wednesday night....when i can finally be all the way done and party hard one last time with my class...i might even miss a few of them!

That rocks! It's great to hear that you are almost done! That's a lot of school...way more than I wanna do, but it looks like our department may be taking over the ambulance crews sooner than thought and I know they want to push some of us into Medic school. Even if I don't go...we're still going to have EMTs riding the box, at least from what they say. I guess that they are going to have a driver ( not medically trained) and a medic..which means more of us jumping in the back on calls....it'll be fun tho'...I hope. lol. And hey, let me welcome you to being an employed memeber of the EMS! Congrats!
