it was a busy and fun september...
highlight had to have been the beck show at the hollywood bowl...
though my brief visit to nyc for business was for pleasure as well. here's tim kring talking about how he'd always intended to have heroes content in every media, not just on teevee, and to build a community for the universe...
i also had an amazingly fun night at the box, which i'm sure will go under in the upcoming recession. it's insanely expensive, and the owners probably won't be able to afford the shakedown money the cops extract to let them do their borderline live sex-show burlesque. nyc is defly at the end of an era..
and finally... i leave you with a little gardening update:
trying out some new succulents in the big pot that bakes in the midday sun. hoping that they will succeed where all the flowering annuals have failed. more (admittedly boring) plant photos are in this flickr set. any and all advice is appreciated.
hope everyone's gearing up for halloween. i'm going as ghetto iron man. i figure it's okay for tony stark to walk about with a cocktail in hand... it's a prop!

I'm pitiful with plants, oh my goodness. I like them a lot, but I need to not forget about them and not under or over water them accordingly.
Thanks for the comment about my boots. They were the only thing that saved me and prevented me from falling on my ass repeatedly during Seattle Snowpocalypse '08. Take that, UGG lovers.
