The initial test run in LA went well, altough a lot of wrinkles came up in the plans. Venice Beach/Santa Monica might not be the slam dunk I had expected, so we're going to look at other neighborhoods now.
Driving to the hotel on Weds, I saw that The Rapture were playing The Troubadour. Sold out? No problem, thanks to Craiglist LA. Got to hang with my friend Nicole and saw a kickass show...
Friday night, Mrs 7sins escaped the snow in NY. We hung at the Chateau Marmont courtesy of our friend David Rodgers, event prooducer extraordinaire. Dinner in the courtyard was surprisingly good, and then we hung out in the penthouse, where we saw Christina Aguilera looking very pretty and newlywed-ish. The view up there is a-ma-zing.
Driving is going to be a bit of problem for both of us. I might be getting a chauffeur's cap for xmas this year.
