my halloween flat out rocked. went to a friend's place earlier on then went here for the rest of the night:

we went as batgirl and superman not out of any great love for the characters, but because it was easy and good for dancing -- which we did from 1 to 6. it was so much fun.

Market research mostly, as it's what I have most experience in. I'm finishing up my Masters in Business (Marketing) majoring in Consumer Behavior & Research. I've mostly been looking at the big research houses. I'm also into consumer products & consulting. My basic story is undergrad in IT, work for a few years, back to grad school, internship.. now?
At this point I'm pretty open to anything just to get a foot in the door and get my brain active again.
PS. Hi! Now you know my life story, feel free to share yours.

i was just at my sister's halloween party tonight. didnt discuss anything about the baby thing. figured not the place for it.

im supposed to have a ten mile race in the morning. only problem? whatever i ate at the party is now making me horribly sick. figures this would happen.

well, i have a few more hours to feel better, so we'll see what happens with the race
haden:
no race. i am sooooo bummed. my roommate wanted to take me to the hospital because i wouldnt stop getting sick. and then i started to throw up blood. my thoughts?? no health insurance, no hospital. it stopped sunday morning.

and now? fine as could be. figures. oh well.

i didnt dress up for halloween, it was just a chance to go see my sister and her husband.

but what did you do? anything interesting?

i tried to get a game of beer pong going, but half the people had no idea what i was taking about!

booked the thanksgiving flight to amsterdam, but still trying to decide where to stay. any suggestions for a centrally located hotel?

sg burlesque on tuesday night was really good. i esp liked the routines with Chloe, Regan and the new girl Reno. Great music selection, great themes, great everything. Way crowded though.

i'm getting a little antsy about the work announcement. i was told it'd...

pop culture update:

saw stellastarr at irving plaza: solid performance, and the new album pretty much avoids the whole sophmore slump syndrome. but they were dogging it a bit. the band doesn't seem to be having as much fun as they did just last year. hope they get their spark back.

saw "tristram shandy" last night -- hilarious, esp for steve coogan fans. michael wnterbottom...

yes, yes, yes... you have THE BEST taste.... with the exception of my set (I don't think it deserves to be in that group, but that's just because I'm a perfectionist and I wish we could re-shoot it for SO many reasons). I hadn't seen 2 of those sets, and I just did. So thanks for pointing them out.... things to aspire to.

I feel like my BOX set is much more me.... much better, at least in terms of my part...
what's stellastar like? I've heard of them before.....

It's been an interesting month to say the least. Big shake ups at the office, which might work in my favor. The uncertainty has caused turbulence all around, but I've made my peace with it and looking forward to whatever the future holds.

I've been to Chicago for work and play. Been very busy here in N-Y-C. And trying...

Another great weekend: Friday evening disco-nap and then for the first time in months, we ventured in the NY night. Sub-Tonic was a great warm-up with the Mutek team from Montreal, but Happy Ending's new Friday night party kicked ass. Not insanely crowded but enough people dancing to keep it fun until 4...

Saturday was powerlounging and Sunday was me trying to help my garden...
