Endings
My dad, Hubert Houston Ramsey, passed away earlier this evening. I can't say much now, both because words aren't coming easily and because I have to get mom home. I'll just repeat that he was the most good, loving, fundamentally decent man I've ever known. Virtually everything I know about being a man in this world, I learned from him. He was cantankerous and stubborn as all get-out, but it virtually always came with a big grin. We argued more times than I could possibly count, but at the end of the day there was nobody in this world I respected more than him. I love you and I'll never stop missing you, daddy.
I forgot to mention, dad despised the name Hubert and was known to all as Hugh...

I am reallly sorry for your lose, and I know really there is no words that will comfort you to much at a time like this, other then hang in there and let youself mourn.
this may be a little delayed, but i'm very sorry for the loss of your father. i couldn't imagine losing my own; i had such a difficult time losing my grandfather in december. i hope you have found ways to continue your father's life in your actions and the lessons you teach others.
