Ahh yes the past always come back to be the present. Why is that? Is it because we as humans can rarely ever let go of anything. Our failures and disappoinments and acomplishments, all the times we got a pat on the head, all these things we carry around with us.

A wise man once told me to live in the present. Not dwell on the past or worry about the future. Just be in the now. Very Buddhist I know. He said that it is a Hell to find ones self living in the past or future. I would tend to agree.

But i ramble with my preamble. The point of this is that a lover/friend from my distant past has contacted me in an attempt to reconcile and move on. make peace, amends or some such thing. we have hand limited contact since i horribly wronged her last. i make light but i admit i was selfish and trying to make everyone as miserable as i was. you know, hurt others to ease your own hurt. i hope things can change and we each can find a little peace in this. not in any physical way mind you there is a continent between us and besides neither one of us are looking for that from each other. that's were the problem started in the first place.......
