I've been trying to get back into writing lyrics lately to get this new band going and im totally stuck. I wrote some lyrics about a year ago and read them to see if i could use them and holy crap i was super jaded and cynical at the time. There's no poetic ring to them at all, just pure "I hate everything i hope you die etc etc". i was going through lots of shit with this completely worthless human being at the time so it makes sense haha. but i've actually been pretty happy lately so its hard to write lyrics when you feel that way.there's plenty of things that still piss me off, so i guess i just need to start writing and getting my thoughts down.
