Ever feel trapped? Right now, I do. I've lived in Kentucky my entire life and I've lived in the city of Louisville for almost 17 years. I don't have the means to move nor do I have a legitimate reason to. I can't find decent work in this city. After spending the past several months being passed over for jobs, many of which, I have been more than qualified for, I have lost nearly all hope. Deep down, I know a move or a change of scenery cannot rid me of sadness and anger. However, I KNOW that a new city would do wonders for my mood and attitude. Unfortunately, I don't have the money to move, plus my family is here and I can't just pack up and leave without good reason, such as a worthwhile job. Life can be a real pisser.
