I am not from Canada, but I think you should go to Montreal in the summer. Florida is a place you can go to anytime.

Club Soda is a must for great music in Montreal, La Ronde is an amusement park in Montreal with a great roller coaster "Le Monstre" a wooden roller coaster. China town has some great stores and there are many many great restaurants
