Its the weekend! well, my weekend anyways. Much like the last couple of 'weekends' it is going to consist of some beer and some Mt Baker so I'll keep this short seeing as how that's all there's been to read about since January.

I am breaking down and buying a digital compact camera, because I am sick and tired of spending $40 / week on film and processing and scanning... soon it will all be behind me and I will have a plethora of pictures to bore you all with...
I have no news. Poker and snowboarding have been my life for the last 4 weeks. My poker nights are getting better, I've got one in march for which I'm projecting a $650 first prize

As far as digtal camera goes I kinda not an expert but probably know a little more than average. Just from the pics I see you take. You might look at getting a hight mega pix one. 5 is nice. This will allow you to zoom into the pic if you want the image bigger without geting grainy as fast. For me I wanted the ability to zoom in more than the average.. I can't stand taking pics and get all excited to only see nothing. Eveything is too small. Since you take photos in the snow. Make sure it has settings to filter out unwanted light types. Ebay is a nice place to bum around in. I just seached to web and read articles and such. I have a Fuji finepix s3100.4 mega pix, 6x times optical ( this is important) 3.5 digtial ( to use higher digital zoom a tripod is a must, think of it like when your taking a pic and you want to blow up the subject really big once the phot is already taken). I'm not a picture taker kind of person. But digital has kinda made me more. I took a photo class in school and used to take a crap load of pics. Now I just take snaps to prove my existance on this earth to family and friends.
