I got a swift kick in the butt from one of my many friends to update the page... so i thought I'd write out a conversation that i had with a girl today that has absoloutely made up my mind to never ever ever see her again...

(unimportant babble leading up to...)
Me: I think I'm going to sponsor another kid.
Her: Where this one, from south asia?
Me: No, i think that enough people are giving money to that, I think maybe a girl from the east Congo.
Her: Through that Worldvision thing?
Me: Yeah.
Her: How much does it cost to sponsor a kid?
Me: 'bout $30.
Her: Thats how much it costs to get my nails done! Hmmm, let's see... sponsor a kid, do my nails, sponsor a kid, do my nails.....
Me: I'll sponsor two, you stick to your nails.
Her: Okay, sounds like a plan to me.

wtf??! this girl is catholic... a friend of mine later suggested to me that i say:

.... why are some people like this? Sure, have pretty nails if ya want but let's not prioritize painted dead cell growth over the complications of the 3rd world...

This has been a sort of dreary journal entry. I'll definately have to think up some funny stuff to write later this week...
