At what time exactly should we as humans grow up? I am thinking never... but then again my parents feel as if I am losing sight of my ever lasting goals ... I took a year off after high school I just didn't know how to deal with Vassar alone without my only faithful companion (my dog Toby)... dorms I tell you.. and i mean if it was right around the corner it would be great but no it has to be in NY across the country from me...but next Fall i will be going.. everyone seems to think i chicken out last min this aug .. who are they to judge at least i already have a secured spot for next fall and don't have to worry about it .... I don't want to grow up!! AHHHhhhhhhhhhh~

Personally, I frown on growing up. When I describe a typical day at my current job (an actual "career"-type job, mind you - just with a very non-traditional corporate culture), my mother is fond of pointing out that I'm permanently arrested at 12 years old.
My reply: "Well YEAH."
Me: University in my hometown, college waaaaaaaaay across the province, and then three jobs since I finally finished school, each in a different town. And it's been pure adventure.
You're gonna do just fine
