(i.e. go somewhere public and be alone and look intellectual and sensitive- in this case i was at larry's studying cardiology)
along with an old standard:
(the good cop bad cop strategy - fortunately some campus dickwad played the bad cop part for me without me even asking)
to meet a girl named after a hawaiian princess.
