I met a girl tonight that was what I used to be... Meth was her best friend and I was just a guy trying to get some. I know it seemed that the truth was not the history, but after all said and had done. I had trouble telling her how much I didn't wanna know her self-destructive mentality. Now I am not sober but the pain she shared with me (as much as she didn't want to) I felt.
I hate seeing people lost in life, I know that life has more in store for every person then anyone thinks is possible. Live to remember, try not to forget. Your life is a mist of steam that can easily be someones regret.

Less that dragons are dinosaurs, more that dragons are, in this posited medeival world, manifestations of evil. The dragon is the famine destroying your village, the dragon is the reason that your crop was poor this year, the dragon has enspelled your friend or wife or mother, and that's why she won't heal and stop being sick. The dragon is the personification (draconification?) of an evil force or presence. By killing it you remove evil from the world and the world is made a better place. There is no moral question here, it's just a simple matter of removing something that is truly and by nature evil.

And as for the dragons are an ancestral memory of dinosaurs, I personally believe that back in the day there were plenty of huge man eating lizards and snakes of various sorts, And I don't find it at all unlikely that stories of aligators and anacondas travelled about the world and were retold as dragons. For instance, on theory has the origins of Saint George the Dragon Slayer as an Ethiopian knight, the tale of whom migrated north over the years.
