Walt Disney World - Magic Kingdom...how many hours did it take them to do that?

Spending hours at the park has not been very appealing to me lately. It is not because I do not LOVE all things Disney, it is because of the guests who arrive at the parks in droves and usually ruin my day at some point. Yesterday was a twelve hour day at the parks. Yes my day was almost ruined a few times by the following:

Guest smoking in front of myself and children in a non designated area. Due to the language barrier and lack of understanding to the sign "put that out" he blew smoke in my direction,

Guest taking flash photos during rides, ex. the new Little Mermaid ride. I was so sad not to experience them completely being distracted by constant flashes,

and Guests leaving their trash on the ride, that was just sad.

By the end of the day I was exhausted, disgusting, and sore. I was trying to convince my significant other that we needed to leave the park before the light show or we would be stuck for hours in traffic.

I am so thankful he made me stay.

Disney is one of the only places on earth that can make the "older" generation feel young, bring back memories that were almost forgotten, and bring everyone together for just a short moment.

The Walt Disney World Celebrate the Magic Show did it. I have never seen a show of such wonder before. My kid, techie, and Disney-vet in me were all in awe of the performance.

This post is just a simple, "Hey this happened and you should try to come see it for yourself" moment and "have you ever felt like this?". Watch the youtube video I have linked. This a great representation of the magic that happened last night, but does not give that amazing feeling of watching it surrounded by friends and other guests living it. Amazing.
