So, yeah. Its Monday morning. It rained here in RI all fucking weekend. And its going to rain untill some point in 2008. I didnt get around to doing shit this weekend. Well, I hung out with the cougan for a little bit. But thats about it. Heres some random shit from me.....
*OK, here is my take on Barry Bonds. And yes, i figure the majority of people who read this will be females who hate baseball, but bear (or bare?) with me.
Ahem....THIS IS NOT RACISM!!!!
I love how Barry went out and got Danny Glover, to say that its because hes a black man, and thats why hes getting so much shit over this whole steriod/babe ruth thing. Than, he says how black people need to come together....and blah blah blah. All that was missing was Danny saying "im getting to old for this shit" followed by a quick camera pan out to show Mel Gibson, with his old Lethal Weapon mullet shrugging his shoulders.
Heres why I (a white man) hates Barry Bonds
He himself is incredibly racist, and refuses to sign autographs for white people. One of his old teammates was having an auction for charity, and he asked Bonds to autograph a bat to donate to the auction. Even though it was for sick kids, Bonds refused, since he was white.
He cheated. He took steriods. And I read the Game of Shadows book, and he didnt just do one cycle. He did everything from anabolics, to human growth hormones, and masking agents. He took more drugs than Keith Richards on tour (well, almost)
And I dont even blame him for taking steriods, alot of guys did. He just did what alot of other big names were doing. But he admits nothing, lies about it, and acts like where too fucking dumb to notice when he was young, he looked like an NBA player, now he looks like hes ready for the WWE.
Look, Jason Giambi (a yankee, there for I hate him) got nailed for steroids, apologized, got clean and now hes back to slamming home runs. And the fans forgive him, since he admitted to it, and came clean. Bonds did no such thing.
Final analysis: Fuck Bonds. Wether hes white, Black, Dominican, whatever. Hes just a fuckin asshole of a person.
Ok that rant is done. I assume I lost the majority of you, so Ill just post more tomorrow.
