Time is slowly creeping by, as it always does when you're eagerly anticipating something. Less then two weeks now until I get to see my beautiful wife, and I can hardly wait! We haven't even been apart that long, but it feels like forever. I guess that's just one more little reminder of how much I truly love her. I've never really missed anyone as much before, (aside from my daughter of course) and it just feels good to know that I'm going to get to see her soon...

In other, less sappy news, things have been good here. Went out and interacted with the locals, distributed a bunch of medicine, and just hung out. Held a raffle and gave out some prizes like umbrellas (very handy here), backpacks for the kids, and some informative posters. I like getting out and conversing with the people (as much as I can anyways), it puts a lot of things into perspective for me. And it helps fend off cabin fever...

I can't wait to get back to WA so I can go snowboarding again. My board is sitting in my garage crying right now. I've missed the last two seasons for various reasons, but NO MORE! I plan on spending as much time on the mountain/any mountain as I can this winter. Maybe I'll try and teach my wife to ride again. Maybe this time she wont get a concussion again...
