i'm back!
holy shit it's been a long time since i've updated. april? wow. anyway, i've both been really busy with work and keeping my time occupied in other ways. i've also been debating my future on this site. i've met some great people, and i do regret losing touch with many of you.
NEWS
since april, i traveled to spain and portugal. i went to a music festival in barcelona (awesome), met some great people, then met f in porto. we traveled down to lisbon and had an amazing time there. our first 24 hours in lisbon was a highlight of the trip (much to be said there). we then traveled back to barcelona and i later moved on to madrid. all-in-all an excellent trip, rather long and intense
i'm now between contracts (aka unemployed) and naturally planning another trip already. next stop... INDONESIA! i'm flying into bali (denpasar) at the end of next month. i'll be meeting f in yogyakarta and moving from there back to bali for a while. then it's on to kuala lumpur malaysia! (my friend with the malaysian girlfriend is so jealous he can barely speak to me.) anyway, i'll be gone for about two and one half weeks. sweet!
i'm not sure how much longer i'll be able to maintain the travel schedule i've enjoyed for the past year and a half, so i'll enjoy it while i can.
in other news, i'm beginning to seriously consider a move out of the ATL. first choice, i'd really like to move overseas. japan is top of the list. next is an A list of US cities: ny, san fran, chicago...? I hope to get resettled with some work in the ATL and start looking pretty seriously for jobs outside. any thoughts on this subject are welcome.
anyway, it's good to be back and feels good to write about what i've been up to. i look forward to catching a bit.
