Whew! A lot on my mind. Not all will translate well to here.

I got a call from the company i've been interviewing with about an actual job offer. I'm going to call in the AM to see what's up. Chances are (unless things really go awry) i will accept and start working very soon. I have, however, learned nothing is a sure thing. At least i might stop posting about job stuff soon wink

I watched The Graduate last night-- one of my all-time favorite movies. One day i need to find an Alfa Romeo Duetto and drive it around the Bay Area. Those driving scenes speak to me.

What else... I've been downloading a fair amount of music lately, trying to get caught up with some older stuff-- Gang of Four, The Slits, etc. Not completely related, but i have a confession to make. I'm not sure this is a good idea but... I like Connor Oberst. There, i said it. That little fucker can write some really good songs.

Caught the State of the Union address at Manuel's tonight with some friends. Better not say too much lest i spend another 30 minutes on here. I gotta get to bed!

In other news, I think i'm addicted to garlic pickle. I've eaten over half a jar (mostly by itself) since picking it up from the Farmer's Market last week.

Alright, enough!

_bossanova_:
I like spicy pickled okra. Is that weird? I know most girls my age would beg to differ, but Conner Oberst is not all that and a side of grits. I think he's talented, but not the supreme hotness he's made out to be. It is good to catch up with good old music. I'm catching up with my favorite album, Sticky Fingers, and it's never sounded so good.love

Good luck with the job offer!

kiss
