Folks, peeps, and playas:
I'm here, alive, and moving to San Francisco. I go back and forth between excitement and dread (mainly due to the logistics of the move) but it's happening. At the moment it looks like I'll be living in a fabulous apartment in the sunny Mission, right down from Delores Park.
I've been in Atlanta for-ever, so pulling away is going to be difficult but the time is now. My friends and family are here. I'll do my best to keep in touch with everyone here and will certainly plan to have some visitors.
The plan is to leave Atlanta for good (for now) around the first of April. Most of my stuff is going out in the next few weeks so I'll be living lean for a while.
That's about all I've got right now. SF here I come. I hope I'll be as enamored with you as so many others.
