hello again,
this time back in cali. with the gray skies and the yellow leaves fallen on the ground. surprisingly there are more leaves turning here than there were in new york. i had fun there. g and i had a blast. g is like a super friend-she's like my lover/my friend/my mother and my grandmother all rolled into one. she reminds me of my lost grandmother, she nurtures me into bed, giving me peppermint tea to ease my tummy and she's hot and fun, we walk arm-in-arm and check out the ladies respectfully and we dance together and her head smells like my grandma's. she is my girl and i am home now and i am back to needing to act and have people calling on me and asking of me and deadlines and money woes and papers (community policing-challenges for criminal justice administrators-roles of a justice administrator-probation supervisory problems). sound like fun to you??
i have blisters from wearing my sneakers w/o socks while walking home to meet my landlord today. he fixed my leaky kitchen faucet and made me keys so i can go to sleep now. i'm going to take a bath and read maybe (handmaiden's tale or ceremony) and then crash. i'm tried. am i always tired? thanks to all who read my ny journal entries and responded, you're all the bestest in the westest or the eastest or wherever the hell you're all at...
i want to have a reunion of all my friends on this site...that would be cool...
my plants are okay and my baby is running smoothly...i'm going to bike to work tomorrow so i can take a picture of her and post on this site...yes yes i will do that...
you know...i was on this bubble drink kick and i think i finally got sick of them today...do you know what i'm talking about? those tapioca pearl things? too much sugar in dem things...i had pizza last night and my stomach still hurts...i've decided that planes are very unnatural for a girl and i'm refusing to travel by plane again this year...going by train or by bike or something next time..which will be next month...always on the go...
actually i heard anything faster than the speed of a horse was unnatural for us humans...so listen up y'all...

I saw both movies at the California, but I don't know any one who works there. I recomend seeing both.
I am glad you are coming out on the 26th, it should be a great show. We were practicing last night. Oh it's gonna be silly!
I do think we should get together for coffee or tea at the "home of much gayness," in Oakland's Lesbian Castro (as I like to call it) . I am pretty busy until after the 26th. Perhaps next week or after halloween.
