awwww...tummy ache...we need 50 cc's of ice cream _stat_.
Big weekend coming up...others are goin home...I have a 6 hour lab on monday where I have to make complex crystals in certain configurations out of raw materials...it's worth 30% and I'm fired up...course so far I have the reputation of making the most perfect configurations
(I'm the TAs pet...she's also the ex gf of my best friend...lol...course I was on her side).
Then on Tuesday I have the second most intense exam of my life...neural development in mammalian embryos...
As you can probably guess I'm pro stem cell research as there isn't anything special about humans compared to animals...we just have the ability to think and only 30% of us have the aiblity to make complex connections. So you anti stem cell research people can bugger off as there's no way you're gonna win (not in the world today).
Having been brought up in a very religious family I was fortunate that my parents let me think what I want and thus I don't have to believe anything...course Hinduism is just a bunch of stories it's entertaining but not as entertaining a religon as the Olympics or World Cup...so I hop between those two as religions.
Back to the topic on hand...we are fortunate to have a country such as China that will start to compete against the US soon and will hopefully get the US back in track towards putting more money into research and non lethal (or super lethal) weapons.
Well...that's my two cents...I could talk religion vs science all day and I'm sure I will yet again.
Anyhow, time to review notes on plasma membrane development. I got my class schedule next term and it rullllllllessss...I've already TAd two of the courses next term and the other 3 are prereqs for courses I've taken...can you say FREE TIME!!!! I'm gonna oh soooo evil during the summer.
