Dear Journal (and not you other snooping bastards),
I'm waiting till friday to find out if I get a certain contract...it has a follow up project that can net me a tiny bit of cash. Yes, money does make the world go around (btw, tuition itself is $5500 a term for me...damn double/triple majors).
So anyhow, I figured out why I buy so many tech gadgets and stuff. I have a lot of free time that's unstructured. To fill up this time I buy gadgets that can occupy me. When I had a girlfriend (each of the 3 times) I was satisfied with being around them...getting them flowers...whatever they wanted...whereever they wanted to go (requesting trips to the arcade and football (soccer) pubs and computer stores for my own personal well being). It was really fun, and I had no need for gadgets. But now...there's an emptiness that games like Pikmin fill perfectly...they give and take...they ask and listen...sniff...maybe I really can get along without human contact.
Oh, I was asked out by a girl in my bio lab who I've been wanting to ask out for the term...as mike said: "very modern."
She's currently 2 out of 3 (brains and looks), this afternoon I'll find out if she has personality.
I'm happy to know that I'm only 1/3rd shallow
