well, my stupid truck died, its a 1990 jeep cherokee sport and i was in the middle of picking up some supplies for work when my transmision fluid started to spray out, followed by my coolant so this is going to be a very expencive fix.
i ended up waiting 2 hours for a tow truck, and spent another 2 hours picking up my step moms car so atleast i can drive. i ended up loosing 4 hours so i was very far behind in my work and i had to cancel the work i was supposed to do that night which was a very good wage.
the worst part about this (other than the bill which i will find out how much it will cost to fix tommorow) is the fact that i use my jeep alot for work, not only to get to and from but transporting stuff such as ply wood, paint, etc.
on the bright side work is going well, i have been doing much more work at higher wages and it is alot funner than my old job. i also got a sweet new part time job, i am a "drama support staff" for a high school near me. basically i design the sets and lights and build the sets, i also teach the kids how to hang and focus lights and how to build sets. and because this is with the school board i get full benifits (after 3 months)
the only problem is i cant start work for 4 - 6 weeks because i need a police security check and it takes that long to proccess.
