Why do anger and politics always go hand in hand, if you can't control yourself how can you make good decisions and arguements for your cause?
I hate politics.
Perhaps its because they are no longer what they were... but i hate them. How can a politician, someone so far removed from the working class, really decide what is best for the common man? What happened to politicians serving the public, that is, holding office and holding a job? What happened to republicans being republicans and democrats being democrats, when did they become the same people who just spouted different arguements while passing the same bills behind the public's back. Politics shouldn't be a reality tv show, it shouldn't be a soap opera, it shouldn't be more entertaining to watch the state of the union address because of the reactions the president gets than to watch any other tv show. It is politics, its supposed to be boring and its supposed to get things done, right now... its exactly the opposite.
I would like to believe that someone, some person, could change the system. But nobody will. The government is like a cancer, republicans say they want it smaller, yet it grows, democrats well... feed it and it grows.
Why does it grow? because people as a whole haven't come to one simple realization (and this may sound like anarchist bullshit but here goes...) we don't need them. Assuming you are willing to take the responsibility of the consequences sqarely on your shoulders you are absolutely free to do whatever you want.
ah well, more later, this just scratches the surface on a rant that has been developing into a disrutation for months.
