What a horrible day! These guys who live in the apartment building below my boyfriend's building have a huge rotweiler (spelling?) which they just tie up to their porch. The dog has no shelter, no food, and no water. I have gone down there a couple times on hot days and givent he poor thing water and today I noticed that its chain had gotten all tangled up. All the dog could do was stand in one spot. Well it has been raining all day and has gotten really cold so I went down to the porch again to untangle him and he was shivering so bad that I could hear his teeth rattle! Right as I bent down to get the chain undone, the owner comes out and starts yelling at me. I calmly say that the dog's chain is tangled up and that he is shivering like crazy. The guy starts cussing at me saying that he will take care of his dog and damn way he pleases and that I need to leave. Before I turned around to go I just asked if he would get the dog a dog house or something and the guy gets right into my face and says if i don't get the fuck out of there that I was going to be sorry and if he ever saw me again that I was going to be in trouble. What kind of guy gets up in a 98lbs little girls face? It made me cry alot and I called the animal police. I hope everything works out for the dog's sake.
