I've had a few different nicknames through the years. The first one I can remember was little Brian because my brother was friends with a Brian that lived down the street. To avoid confusion he was big brain because he was older. That name stuck until big Brian moved away. Which was good because once I hit my growth spurt I was bigger than him but he refused to give up the title.
The next nickname was given to me by my best friends dad. He called me AK after the gun that I bought and used to hunt with on his property. That name caught on pretty quick and still I am called that to this day. It makes me laugh because I may not recognize the person coming into my bar, but when they say "what's up AK" I know they are good.
Another one that I still hear is Biggs. This came about when I was with a girl and she would always do something silly. I would say you're killing me smalls. So she decided that she would call me Biggs, and that's how I still get introduced by her to this day. Not one of my favorite nicknames but you know what they say, you can't choose your nickname.
The last one is one that a select group of friends call me which is Brihan. This came from one of my oldest friends dads. That man was big John and he was more of a father to me than my own. He never called anyone by their real name always some twist to it.
There are some of my friends and friends wives that to this day still don't know my real name. Just last month my friends wife finally asked after ten years of knowing her. She told me she has been dying to know, I told her all she had to do was ask 😂
