ummm.... i had an interesting conversation with the roommate of my borthers girlfriend. My brother is leaving for NY then on to Spain for a semester and his gf roommate (i cant spell worth a damn) was saying how happy she is that he is going, not because she dislikes him but because her friend will now be around more often. This girl is a total attention whore. We were talking about my family and my adopted brothers, and she was expalining how she couldnt do that. Mainly stemming from her back story which is her father was a missionary, well still is i guess, and he spends a lot of time helping people less fortunate i.e. drug addicts, misguided youth, etc. SHe was like, "i just cant handle those people", well, something along those lines. I told her she grew up in an enviornment where her father was focused more on helping others than gushing attention on her. She seemed to agree but didnt really think that was a problem.
