You almost die, then life sucks.
Atleast that's how it feels.
Long time, no see huh...as if anyone reads this...anyway, my absence has been..tah dah, medical. It seemed I had appendicitis in the bad bad way just over two weeks ago.
That's is bad enough in itself, except that in my case my appendix had swollen to abpout softball size, and neat tucked it self around of pice of bowel. SO, they had to cut a piece of bowel out to take it out, and then replumb my large intestine. All in all, I ended up spending over 4 days in the hospital..tortured by a foul liquid diet (soup broth is not food!!) and healthcare works that seemed to forget what the hell care is. AND I had insurance!!
I could hardly walk the first 9 days afterward, and have been fighting regularity because the chorus of antibiotic sand painkillers and of course the shock of surgery has turned my digestive tract to shit. Or not..get it?
All this while spending a wonderous 4 weeks out of work with a big hospital bill looming and an uncertianty on how much my insurance will cover. Weee.
That would be fun enough if I didn't have to be in a wedding in less than two weeks and now, missing a chance to spend soem tiem at a friends beach house because of all the time off already..AND the shakiness of my financial solvency.
Thank freaking god I didn't move out yet!
