There's something wildly dionysian about driving, in the Nietzschian sense of it all. I was heading down PCH tonight after a night on 3rd Street and I realized there's rarely a time when I'm so intuitive and in touch with it all. I just can't put my finger on it... but I must admit, there's a considerable amount of Guinness working against me.
