I saw Lord of Chaos today.
Great movie. Hilarious movie.
I enjoyed the portrayals of everyone, and the way the film showed in full brutal detail everything that happened (don't go into this thinking they're gonna cut away and just have Euronymous find Dead dead. . . .no. . .you watch that boy kill himself, in real time) and then the guys reaction to said event and all you could really do was laugh at how they reacted to it.
I knew most of the story but 1. I get the order of events confused and 2. I never remember which member of Emperor did what.
Also, I was cracking up at the fact whatsherface let Euronymous hit while still wearing corpsepaint until I remembered "wait, you want to fuck a girl in corpsepaint yourself". #FML
If you took any of that whole era serious outside of the music, you're probably not going to like this. . . . .but outside of that, go see it.
